A note on moon candles for the summer

Hey friends,

I hope you are all hanging in there for the wild ride that this summer has been. I’m sending you all so much love. It’s been really rough.

I will be taking a brief hiatus from candles this summer. It will be the first break I’ve taken from making them since I started them in 2020. We’ve had some really tough and scary family stuff going on, as well as me getting laid off from my day job, which I picked up after markets started to slow down. It’s been tough lately.

But amidst the bumps there has been true and deep beauty and for that I am truly grateful. I was able to visit one of my favorite humans on the planet in Maine in July. I also attended a magical workshop at Haystack with Emily Endo and Dee Clements.

The next round of candles will be coming out on the full moon on August 30th. I hope you enjoy them, and may they offer ease and safe passage through this wild retrograde season.
