Shipping:

All orders are shipped through USPS because they are very reliable, and because I believe it is extremely important to support the United States Postal Service. I make every effort to ship orders within 3-4 business days. However, I am a one woman show with a lot of spinning plates so this isn’t always possible. I do however guarantee that orders will ship within 7 days after the order is placed, with the exception of orders place on Saturday as USPS does not ship on Sundays.

Rushed shipping is available at an additional fee. If this is something you would like to do please select PDX pickup (as it is free) and then email me with how you would like it shipped. I will send you a Venmo request for the difference.

I use a specialized honeycomb packing paper when shipping orders. Bubble wrap in addition to being terrible for the environment can also deflate depending on temperatures and air travel making the piece more vulnerable.

Returns or exchanges:

If the item is still in perfect condition returns and exchanges can be made but will be done so at the expense of the consumer. If any damage occurs to the piece while in transit a refund or exchange will not be honored. It is up to the consumer to ensure the safe shipment of a return or exchange.

If an item breaks in transit:

I have been shipping ceramics for 18 years. I am very careful and breakage in transit is extremely unusual especially since I switched to the specialized honeycomb paper a few years ago.

If an item breaks in transit from Bridgetown Sparrow to the consumer please notify Aby via email with 7 days of the package arriving (abymhenry@gmail.com) The damage must be reported within 30 days. Any damaged items reported beyond the reimbursement period cannot be refunded or replaced.

If an email is sent within the time window, a replacement item will be sent as soon as possible (typically 3-4 weeks as I will be remaking the time from scratch).

An item will only be replaced once.

Pickup:

If you select PDX pickup, please email me with when you hope to come by. There is a Bridgetown Sparrow Sign out front, and your order will be on a table next to the front door with your name on it. PLEASE try to pick up your order within five days. There are a lot of spinning plates and sitting on orders for long periods of time is extremely frustrating.
