Filigree Serving Platter
Description:
These beautiful filigree platters are are the perfect accent for your culinary creations. The inspiration for the design was actually curly brackets {} For some reason everyone in my family uses them when making lists or writing things down and I always thought the gesture of the line was so beautiful. That is the inspiration for the shape of the lip. That being said the design creates a de facto pour spout. This can also be convenient if you have something in the dish like a caprese salad with the oil and vinegar- where you can pour off the extra into a little dish to use in a salad etc. The spout is mostly used when cleaning up at the end of the meal to put extra food into a tupperware, or to use the extra sauce for something else!
You can use this unique piece in the following ways:
Any side dish, like mashed potatoes, or cranberry sauce etc.
Roasted veggies (this is primarily what we use ours for)
Sliced meat or fish
Rolls
Charcuterie spread
